Why? People weren't that inhuman as far I remember, despite Jaehyuk's efforts, Garam continues to act violently and arrogantly toward him. From kicking Jaehyuk in the crotch to making rude comments and failing to appreciate Jaehyuk's gestures, Garam's behavior is indefensible.
