I don't really get the beef between them.
If grandpa wants to dedicate the original store to the art, preservation of culture, honoring tradition, etc., while the dad wants another store to boost returns that pay for overheads (assuming declining revenues in Japan due to slowing demand). Why can't they just do both? Aren't their roles complementary?
