it bothers me that one - FL never tried to find information about witches after going back in time and how to handle them, if there was writen somewhere the reason why she didn't do it, sorry, I'm blind. And two - she herself remembered how people, whom were under witch comand had this unclear eyes and seeing the same eyes on her ex fiance face is okay for her, as if she doesn't want to see it. She wasn’t even trying to look around for people in the castle with same traits as a change in their eyes, after witch was going freely around for at least couple of days
