@Bi*** its kinda complicated but basically the omegaverse is a type of fanfiction where 'people' are divided into three; alpha omega and betas. Both female and males can be all three, but when it comes to males, only male omegas can get pregnant, due to them having a uterus i belive. Both omegas and alphas have scents/pheremone which sometimes makes them attracted to another due to theri scent i belive. They both have a period in which they go into heat, which is where they kinda get ho***. The word heat is more directed to omegas wheras the word 'rut' is for alphas. Alphas are usually seen as bigger and taller and more dominant sometimes, and omegas are more shorter and tinier and "submissive". When it comes to betas  they are more like normal people, where they don't go into heat, and they dont have a certain scent or 'pheremone'.
