@Raven

yk that blood doesn't really stink right?

The only factors in which blood could stink are severe health conditions, any bacterial infection that when exposed to air reacts causing a pugent smell or if you're using a tampon.

And besides, blood naturally doesn't have a smell, it's odorless, it is only when exposed to air that it assimilates a metallic smell, due to its rich iron composition... Iron doesn't stink.

ASIDE FROM THAT, it'll smell sweaty only if you're a little nasty bi*** who doesn't take care of hygiene.

@Cube Lover you usually don't notice cause if it's a small amount of blood, but when the amount is large enough u'll start to smell the old rotting blood

@Cube Lover and mind your language cause you don't have the right to speak to me so rudely when I haven't said anything offensive

as a vampire I can confirm that blood does smell bad when it start to grow old and stale I can also confirm that different blood types have a slightly different taste smell and texture
@Raven

1. I wasn't speaking rudely, i was speaking factually.

2. The "nasty little bi***" wasn't directed at you, it was for the people who in fact don't have any basic hygiene by choice. As i did not clarify that i do apologize for the confusion and if it was written in a form that would seem like i was talking about you.

3. I have already been in a sizable pool of my own blood a few years ago due to an accident while rock climbing [I split my head open, had a perforated lung, broken my left ankle and had quite the open wounds and bruises from both rolling down the mountain and slamming against it] which made me bleed in a considerable amount.

I had enough consciousness to address my head and at least shove a couple gauzes into the lung wound to stop it from aggravating the situation but in the end i fell unconscious before i could ask for help. During that time my wounds did not stop bleeding and when i regained consciousness i was surrounded by blood and had little to no function due to the pain and blood loss.

Unfortunately for me, my senses were very much sharp aside from vision which was impacted during the fall. I tried to move my arms to get a feel of where i was and i could just feel dried blood all around me where my arms could move.

Along with it i could only smell a nauseous amount of iron to the point where it made me feel like vomiting my guts out. I stayed there from when i fell which was around midday until i was found and rescued to which it was documented to have been around 4:53 pm on the next day.

This is to say that from my own experience, blood did not in fact stink the way you now described it, it just smelled like iron and rust because of the oxidation.

i hope i have not caused any more misunderstandings and if i did, i'd be glad if you'd point it out.

@Cube Lover yeah I ain't reading all dat, but I get the gist of what you're saying, but you missed the part "after sometime", what you smelled was fresh blood so it didn't stink, leave a large amount of blood alone for a few hours and it'll start to rot and smell like H£LL
