So of course Mimi doesn't think of yanzi like that however carpet dude did say that yanzi looks really close to their mother which could mean that when carpet guy was killing his fuc*** foster father the "long haired yanzi" that we saw was very likely to be their mother 
Imma reread that chapter and update this if I end up figuring something else out

Okay after rereading I don't think that's the case anymore since it is obviously shown that long haired yanzi is a dude 
He keeps talking about narcissus which is an interesting myth to implement in this. Narcissus is the story of a very handsome dude who always refused everyone, believing they weren't worthy of him and one day he gets trapped into looking into a puddle where he fell in love with his reflection never leaving it until he died (this where the word narcissist comes from). I'm not quite sure why this story is being associated with carpet/blanket guy feel free to tell me any theories tho. It could be that narcissus in this story is an actual person and it isn't metaphorical like I assumed. I would also like to point out how in chapter 69 the color of the text boxes change meaning a different person is talking and after awhile it changes to purple meaning that could be narcissus himself but idk we'll see, I'm sure there will be more revealed that my brain can hyperfixate on.
