This is a complete letdown and i might as well drop it here. Why would she adopt a random kid to become the sucessor, its not like hes a bastard of her late husband. That will make the resistance of others to her sucession even greater. Also why cant she have her own children, shes on 21, the story mentioned that quite often. There is no reason to adopt anyone.
