This kid in his 20's is supporting himself and his two siblings, meanwhile most of the kids in their 20's in the US don't even do the matter minimum like fold their own laundry or make their bed every morning.

@Ryan I actually dislike this mentality. For one, it makes sweeping generalizations with no evidence to back them up. Beyond that, I don't think what the MC is doing should be treated as the norm or something to look up to. It's genuinely impressive, but it's also an unrealistic depiction as it doesn't show the mental and physical toll someone in that situation would actually go through. My main point is that comparing people from different geographical and socio-cultural backgrounds is incommensurable, since each of them faces their own circumstances and obstacles that you're glossing over by prioritizing one over the other.
