Her mother's family had the ability to control time, and her father's (Aiden's) family had the ability to amplify whatever bloodline they have a child with. But Abilities are limited, with their power spread among all living people who have it.

And the MC with her boosted powers, made the Tempus family all non-ability users the second she was born. So they her and her parents were hunted all the MC's life in order to kill her and reclaim their monopoly on Time Control.

Aiden left her with his brothers (her Bio-Uncles), and kept giving them massive amounts of wealth to pay for her safety and a happy life. But the second he (Aiden) said he was going to be off on a mission for a while. They immediately dumped her into the monster forest, and embezzled all the money they got for her welfare.
