The issue with problematic stories like these is that people only want to see picture 🌽orn books. people don’t like to read and interpret, they only want to goon and fawn over the hotties whilst ignoring everything else. Topics like Racism, gRape, obsessive creepy behavior, and narcissism are unfortunately very common in BLs and should be fixed as soon as possible; this we all know. Now as for THIS BL? It’s 100% racist and problematic and should be sent straight towards the drawing table again. Under the green light was nice, but the author should clearly just stick to what they know about American history, (clearly not a lot, if this tone deaf insensitive manhwa is to go off of) and focus on the things they have a better grasp of to avoid situations like these. I’ll admit, they are very hot and I like the designs but I don’t wanna see some slave and his master, I only wanna see that in bed and the only way I can ever see this going right is if they acknowledge and fix the weird savior complex thing going on with the MC and give grace and recognition to the histories of black Americans and their ancestors lest this turns into some weird Free spirited Jew x Mournful 🇩🇪 N*i kinda vibe
