The novel is divided into volume 1 and volume 2 + SS... I suppose (logically) that the manhwa will be divided the same, so 2 seasons + SS
as for the novel...
1) Volume 1 - remarkably darker than volume 2... there's no real love between the two protagonists, I would not even call it love-hate, it's just a relationsthip between a "servant"(MC) and a "guest/customer"(ML).. do be prepared that whatever MC is experiencing now, it will get worse, not only will he get deceived continuously by the club's manager and the boss but ML will not treat him gently...he will be violent with him - not only by raugh s.x but also hitting him quite often, fr this was not easy to read... on top of that will his grandma get scammed, which will end up MC being indebted even more - he will try to run away (he will succeed), but only for a few hours, he will get caught by ML's gangster buddies and they will take him back to the club - the owners will beat him, then they will throw him in front of ML - he will hit him too? If I recall right....and practically grape him,,,, well, do not expect fluff at all + the owners will make him sign such a contract, that MC will practically never have a way out of there.... -- but, surprisingly, step by step the relationship between MC + ML will get better, well it still won't be lovey-dovey, but ML will finally treat him more gentely...he will start to take him out of the club (for a meal or for a car ride for example)... and the volume 1 ends up with a very hot car-sm.ut scene - not s.x but both of them mutually jerking the other off  :) :D doesn't sound that hot, but it was :))

2) Volume 2 - still angsty, but by far lighter than V1
- overall the relationship between MC + ML does keeps getting slowly better.... but at one point MC's roommate tells him that the reason he's indebted to the club (the first debt, which is why he was forced to start working there) was a scam by the owners (how surprising, right? :D)...anyway, he never lost any item and therefore he's innocent... he talks about it with ML, but he is not surprised and is quite indeferent about it (like - "there's nothing u can do about it now anyway")...so MC is hurt... then, the same roommate tells him that if ML likes him even for a little bit, he should take him out from the club (save him from there)... MC will later talk about it with ML - if he can't take him out, that he will do anything... but ML tells him NO, that where would he lock him better than in the club?... I will skip the details, MC will get angry, will flirt with another guest - ML will see it, get angry/jealous, will be harsh with MC again, but MC will puke, cs he's not taking care of his health + meals lately, as he's lost all hope... ML will finally realize that the situation is serious, and will FREE him from the club....and lock him inside his house xD (but it was with MC's agreement)... -> once MC will start live in ML's house, their relationship improves a lot, in the end ML will help him get to school again, will get his grandma's lost house again for her and will help MC get revenge on the f.ckers that ruined his life (the bosses that scammed him in the first place)... they will never name their relationship as "boyfriends", nor will they say the sentence "ILY"..but it will be obvious :)

SS - the first one is very important and interesting as it shows ML's POV throughout the whole series :) so we see all the major moments and what it was like for ML... so we can see that ML's cared for MC much more than it seemed and that he was obsessed with him directly from the beginning...also there is a part about ML's part - that he hadn't had it easy either... -- the other SS shows MC + ML living happily together, going for dates...etc :) there's nothing major there, but it was nice...

OVERALL - it is not a typical love story, it's quite dark, but the second season will be easier to read :) So don't give up after S1 :) that's all, hope this helps
