If u spit in glass of water you don't drink out of it and you can't remove the spit. However if someone places the lips on a cup that can be wiped away and still used by someone else. Of course don't try to relate this analogy to family members being able to share cups cuz then it would turn weir
@Kammii915 when you place your lips in a cup to drink you still leave traces of your saliva in the drink. If saliva being in the cup is the problem then you’d need a new cup regardless of someone spitting in it or sipping from it.
