I never watch one Punch man so I can't comment on that. Idk if pre Solo Leveling there are manhwa with the Soloing aspect or not but I know that after Solo Leveling, 70% mc often go solo and like I said, it isn't bad, it's the author trying to force that trope onto their work that doesn't need or use it.
