Okay, so it is said by the author of the story that they are dropping it BUT another editor will be picking it up in another studio, so basically author's studio dropped the project but another studio picked it up so yay! The date is still unknown but maybe after a few years? So we all will be waiting! And I'm confused cause the head editor told it in this chapter how he's editing a chapters about the wyverns and that episode is actually a hundreds chapters away from Season 3 in the novel version, so maybe we can expect that they are now starting Season 4? The wyvern scene actually is when Genie goes to the other continent to travel and he will met a potential ML and Annie's dad, Kenta.

Oop, my reading comprehension is bad. The head editor is not editing a season 4 chapter about the wyvern but he is just talking about the wyverns in the novel version. So we can expect Season 4 after a few years.
