Man, sometimes MC is kinda stupid. In fact he has the Immortal Tree Source Liquid, so if he is already willing to help this guy he could give it to him. I know it's something precious and he won't give it out to anyone but he already stated that he would try to help him when he goes to the Eastern Territory. Why bother with it then and not now?

@Hashem little brother hashem , yang Kai just agreed just to get rid of him and he will think another time about this and if he goes to eastern territory and this guy forges a good relationship with him then he might consider helping because right now he is some stranger asking for help and this is martial world no one can be trusted. And immortal souce liquid/drop is very precious treasures in yang Kai's arsenal.
@Hashem If it's convenient to help then sure...it'll be out of character if give Immortal Tree Source Liquid for someone he doens't know, especially when he put his life on the line to obtain it previously.
