Comment by Rover on Soulmate - Chapter 28: Apologies

When I was around 12, I had a crush on my friend from grade 9. And I prepared a gift that has a  necklace of her birthstone with a letter and prepared to give it to her on valentine's day. When I was about to go to her classroom, I saw her classmate giving her a gift and some flowers on the hallway, with his friends holding up a poster written: "Would you be my girlfriend?" . I saw her blushing and accepting his gift while her whole grade cheered for them. I threw away my letter and gave the gift to my friend since it would've been a waste to just throw it away.
