He was likely too focused on reviving his dead wife, clinging to that one thread of hope that annoying guy gave him, hoping that one day he could hear his wife's laughter and see her smile at him again.
So yes, the 99 lives she endured were incredibly hard for her, and she shouldn’t just forgive and forget (yet), because trauma has a significant impact, and it's clear that it affected her. But it's also clear that he needs help, and as I read this, I really hope they can be a ray of sunlight in each other’s hearts in the end."
