Tbh what's the deal with the former emperor? I totally forgot what was going on except maybe how he was cute int the beginning but when he found out the ml isn't infertile suddenly he went bad idk what's his deal
@Oiolla so the late emperor got into power by killing his family members, mostly in secret. However since the ml was a child he was spared but if he showed any sign of wanting the throne he also have to die. A child of his will also have the right to try and get the throne so the impotens was part of keeping him safe form the emperor. The part were he can't pass the trone in a child the line ends with the ml hence safe. The emperor also wants a puppet emperor after him so he can stay in control however his child refuses to do so. Which is why she conspired against the emperor. Is she did so to earlythe emperor could have her killed and make another hair. ^^
