@Sade first of all, this is a manhua and secondly I disagree bls or shounen ai are written in the aspect of having the best storyline. The word rare is not appropriate here but it's the other way around. Stories like "Murderous lewellyn candelit dinner, the shape of your love, Netkama punch, uncanny charm, here you are" has 10x much better story line than generic sm** story line that revolves around a twink fragile bottom who is afraid of this r#pist top trying to dominate them and they are also probably in debt. Meanwhile you will hardly find any shounen ai with bad storyline bcz their entire story is based on how good the storyline can be bcz they don't have fanservice materials/sm*t to showcase in their story and draw attention of readers..

I am not saying that all smuts has terrible storyline. Nope. Like Reunion is one of the sm** with such a great storyline but the problem that breaks constantly in yaoi stories is regular s** in every 10 chapters meanwhile reunion had smuts but they were barely shown which made the story so interesting.. Spamming smuts in every 10 chapters is like you don't have a better storyline or you have a fcked up storyline so u wanna draw attention from it
