soo there is this anime called seven deadly sins you probably would know about it
the main character's name is meliodas and his love interest's name is Elizabeth
a little about their background
meliodas is the son of the demon king and the strongest demon after the demon king.
Elizabeth is a angel i don't remember much about her mother in short her mother is very high in rank somehow Elizabeth and meliodas fall in love i think they fell in love while the holy war was going on
soo as every parent would after learning about their love their parents made a truce for a bit then they both teamed up on meliodas and Elizabeth they did kill them but they cursed both of them.
the curse is that meliodas would be immoral while Elizabeth would reincarnate every time she dies and whenever meliodas would come in contact with her and she would remember who he actually is she would die a terrible death. Meliodas having to see her die every time in his hands he would live everytime as he is immortal she dies like 107 times before the meliodas is finally able to break the cycle
this is what I was yapping about and i think I could be wrong about some stuff it's a long long time since I have watched that anime
