This situation is really sad. I didn’t fully understand the story does the girl have a twin, or is the main girl actually the king’s real daughter? I’m not sure, but I think what the king is doing is very wrong. So is it that he only started loving his daughter because she looks like his wife? Or does she have to be extremely smart and successful just to be worthy of his love? Isn’t it unfair to the other girl? Why does he love one daughter but not the other? A father should love his daughter just the way she is.

@Katy Kata ; No. It's not that he does not care for his daughter. He's just your typical denser than a brick father type in these kinds of stories. he loses his beloved wife. Then proceeds to take it out on his own kid by ignoring her and since she never got what she needed from him. She became a bit of a mess herself. Lucky for her. Someone who's a lot closer to her than even she releizes is currently fixing that mess for her. The only clue I'll give you is; It is not a mear chance they they happen to look alike....There is a few vital clues you missed to what's really going on here... And It's all because the father is denser than a brick.
