@Ahjuicys smile it definitely is an egg, the question is whether it's a royal egg. It seems like the current prince is greedy for the throne and doesn't want his younger sibling being born by hiding its existence so that there is a more likely chance of it not coming to fruition, ensuring his place as the next ruler.
