so what happened was satan appeared to sid one day nd kept trying to persuade him to defy cain but since cain saved his life and gave him a body sid was like no but satan wouldn't back down bc he kw that sid was voulnerable bc sid deep down wanted to feel real love nd care so satan was saying that he could give him that if he was on his side but sid kept refusing so instead of trying to convince sid he just left parasites in his head and told him he'll come around so basically sid dont want to do this but has no choice bc its really either him or cain and he aint want to kill him so thats why he hoped the bullet would so he didn't have to(hope this helped man YvY)
