ML also is abused by his mother and one day when he tries to help Sienna, he is whipped/beaten. FL finds out ML is being abused when she and ML were playing together, he started bleeding from wounds. So he unexpectedly revealed his mom beat him. From there, FL said since he revealed his secret, she will reveal hers. She reveals that Sienna is her mom and she is an illegitimate daughter. This was a sad, but happy scene as FL told ML they will be happy together and she will be by his side.
