Guys.. why are you comparing him with carrot guy... Carrot guy is the bully(at the early chapter) this guy is a bully's victim! You're mad at him doing this? I mean yea sure.. but imagine if the new guy is the mc.. we have his pov from the start, i bet we all on his side for revenge... Just remember how much he's suffer back then, bro probably have depression, trauma and mental problem is possible.. wanting to revenge? Of course he got treat worse back then!
