Sid saved Lulu from being trapped in the demon world. During a fight with a minor villain, Lulu got transported into the demon world, and only Sid succeeded on following her there, but due to the power of the villain, one should remain trapped there. Sid sacrificed himself, and stayed in the demon world to save Lulu. After Sid got trapped in the demon world, Lulu went to Echesis guild and found the bouquet she gave Sid when she set him free, and realized that Sid was the owner of the guild. She broke down and cried because the bouquet was preserved as it was before. Lulu spent 6 years completing quests, summoning various novels, and extracting random powers in order to free Sid from the demon world, but to no avail. The 2nd timeskip starts with Lulu's 16th birthday celebration. When Lulu took a breather from greeting guests, she went out to the garden and found Sid waiting for her.
Lulu got angry at Sid for doing whatever he wants without care for what others think. She wants to ask how he's been but all she could say were angry words. She got angry that she grabbed his collar and kissed him. A fake saintess will appear and tries to separate them and tries to steal all of Lulu's achievements. She tried making misunderstandings that she and Sid are a thing and that Lulu is a flirt. Lulu decided to put the misunderstandings to a stop by kissing Sid in front of the nobles during a banquet, and made it seem that the fake saint was stealing her fiancé, Sid.
