@i'm a bottom Well the hate for Diarmuid comes because he chose to treat a kid like a sinner for a sin they didn't commit. Like he was livid and chose to seal his emotions because his lover betrayed him but to treat the child of the said lover who isn't at fault to begin with like trash was not the right thing to do.

@Introvert my point more so is that realistically he had no emotions so no empathy or love for anyone and yes that wasn't okay but I believe people can change if you never give somone the opportunity to try then nothing will ever change I'm not forgiving his past actions I'm encouraging his present actions

@Psychopath I know exactly what your talking about I let my dad back into my life too many times and it does hurt and I've learned he has never actually tried to be a good father but one person doesn't mean everyone is like that and I do believe that the dad in the story has been showing incredible improvement through his actions and that says alot to me because he's not trying to get any forgiveness I do get it though he was a di** in the beginning for sure 😅
