No, her father drags her away to Croyso castle because "She is my daughter and you can't keep her away from me, besides she agrees to go with me," and then glares at Maxi until she says yes. Doesn't even let her take the knights because what does she need knights from in her father's home, she's safe there. 
Later when Riftan comes to save her, he sees her getting hit and he hits Maxi's dad with a chair and breaks his jaw 🤭
