@Lola_XD okay so basically, the ml don't want the mc to move out (probably because of trauma from his fuc*** UP relationship with his parents or the fact that he don't feel home in an empty scape maybe) so when the mc said that he can non longer pretend to be his friend (because he like him) ml said "then let's date" so basically they're dating because ml can't let go of the mc and not because he love him (he don't realize that he like him) and mc know that so he trying to protect himself from getting hurt because in his mind ml will drift appart from him later
