It would have been really good if the male lead was doing the same thing. I mean what if the male lead actually loved Richard?? And that's why he cancelled the engagement to Daphne but when he saw Richard being in love with Daphne he thought of doing the same thing as Richard. He married Daphne so that Richard moves on from Daphne. Idk, but it would have been awesome if the story was like this. Anyway, I still love this story hehe
