Yk I was reading a manga and had to drop it because the guy was dating the young lady with no future in mind. Even when the young woman found out about him and his reckless behaviour she kept saying its ok beacuse as long as i love him more than he loves me now then it's fine but it's not fine. Have some pride woman - How I met my soulamate. (eventually went back to it and caught up untill I reached the newer chapters). When I saw this manwha was 137 chapters and was gonna end in 10 chapters including spinoffs I thought how are they gonna wrap this up in 10 chapters ( bc i knew hes the ex that is gonna remain the ml) He broke up with her and shattered her trust. All this time I'm thinking the author is a girls girl so why does she run back to him in the end when she was doing just fine and had her own troubles. He felt resentment at her mother and her and consequently broke up with her to "protect her" only to realise he can't live without her. I don't care if I have second male syndrome but why aren't we showing that woman can do just fine without a man holding her down. Hes kinda trashy. The other guy truly liked her. Why can't she start fresh. Also why did her best friend have to get back with her ex when she clearly had another live interest and before you say both ladies still had lingering feelings that's the author decision. They could have become someone new after that pain and prosperity and achievements. Tell me they don't look amazing together ugh. What could have been.
