I think I'm going to drop
this manhwa because it's becoming too much for me. At this point, it feels like the story has been replaced almost entirely by smuvt
and fanservice, and I don't see much purpose in continuing to read it anymore, no matter how beautiful the art is.
What bothers me the most is the way Hesoo is drawn. Her body is so heavily sexualized
that it's difficult for me to take the character seriously.
The artist gave her an extremely exaggerated chest size that feels
unrealistic and distracting. As a woman myself, it honestly makes me uncomfortable because it reduces her character to her appearance rather than allowing her to be more than that.
I understand that women come in all body types, including those with larger chests, but the way Hesoo is portrayed feels less
like natural representation and more like the artist catering to a specific fantasy.
It takes away from the story and makes it harder for me to enjoy a character who could have been written and designed with more depth and balance.
It's frustrating because the manhwa had so much potential, and the artwork
itself is genuinely gorgeous. However, excessive sexualization has started to overshadow everything else, and for me, that's enough reason to stop reading.
