Am I the only one who dislikes Ines’ treatment towards Carcel? He never mistreated her in previous lives, but she still decided to make him a pa** and a scapegoat for her own pursuit of freedom because he was the most convenient to take advantage of. She forced kid Carcel into a marriage he didn’t consent to by proposing to him in a public gathering with nobles and aristocrats as witnesses. Carcel grew up burdened to follow through with the marriage to save face. In addition, Ines has manipulated him the entire childhood to think she actually loves him. Remember that Ines’ mental age is much older vs. Carcel who had an actual child’s mentality so of course he’s gullible enough to believe her. When he’s grown, Ines shatters his whole perception by suddenly acting like she wants nothing to do with him. He tried to make her call off the marriage so he can be free and also save his/his family’s reputation but she still wouldn’t. That pushed him into more drastic measures like sleeping around, but Ines still didn’t call it off. Imagine how frustrated and confused Carcel was with her mixed signals. He still decided to completely change and fully devote himself to his new wife. Ines has the audacity to still doubt him and starts manipulating him into divorcing her by setting him up to cheat. More mixed signals and confusion for Carcel. It’s so condescending of her to think so lowly of him. Especially when it’s her own mind games that pushed Carcel to be promiscuous in the first place. I understand she’s extremely traumatized but no need to involve innocent people and manipulate them for years. She also thinks so lowly of her servants. Their only flaw was their annoying devotion. It’s not like they betrayed her in the previous lives either. Don't tell me the author treats Ines' actions as justified and never addresses how shi*** and calculative she has been.

Spoiler!
Lmfaooo almost everyone is blaming carcel when they don't even know that ines' first ever and first love husband was carcel, not the emilio dude or whatever lmfaooo. It's just that they both don't remember that. And oh boy did carcel take care of a terminally ill(but i know that she dies in the ACTUAL first timeline) ines. If i'm not mistaken they had 2 child in the first timeline.
@satosugu angst Yeah ever since I found out Inez is basically an adult trapped in a kid's body, I saw her in a different light when she proposed to Carcel. Basically gr**med a kid to behave the way that benefits her. Obviously it's not for s*xual purposes, but it's still weird to manipulate a kid most of his life. For someone who experienced being manipulated/taken advantage themselves and hated every second of it, Inez sure has no guilt when it comes to her taking advantage of innocent people.
