I took a look at the novel and for some reason, the latter half of this adaption was suuuper rushed (especially towards the end) and also left a lot of things out as a result. The first 30 chapters of this manhua adapted roughly the first 49 chapters of the novel, but the novel has 154 chapters overall, so this really should have had like 90-100 chapters instead of just 68.
It's sad it ended up being so short since I love this series, but I guess I'll have to say goodbye for now (until I reread it)......
