I don't feel like Tunan hasthe heart tohurt someone who helped him. Sure maybe he knows Jian was plotting something behind his back but he also did help Tunan bring Li Chuangxi.
Also in the speech he said he wanted to live an ordinary life then the next scene moves to the introduction of Jian, so in conclusion maybe there's a chance that he'll give the throne to Jian. It's only fair since if he drops the crown then both of them will get what they want and when Tunan continues a war might happen between him and Jian.
And if you guys think about it, Jian sacrificed the love of his life so that he'd prepare for the next line of the throne, possibly he'll also do anyhing for him to keep the throne; what I'm saying is he will most likely agree on forced marriages to create a new heir, and that's opposite to what Tunan wants to do.
