Hot take for this fandom but... I low-key hope doc Dan chooses Choi over jaekyung bc jaekyung legit has SAed doc Dan on multiple occasion so the whole relationship started off toxic and doc Dan being constantly being afraid of him. And I'm also afraid of what he'll do now because he seems over protective of doc Dan (not in a good way) and with Choi also pursuing doc he might do something to either of them out of jealousy. If he does do something to doc over jealousy I feel like it would traumatize him even more cause doc Dan's actually falling in love with jaekyung so it would be a blow to the heart too. Overall Choi seems like someone caring towards doc with the presents and reassuring words and doc Dan rlly deserves a partner that is caring and understanding. Unless either Choi starts acting up in a bad way or jaekyung starts realizing his mistakes and making up for them I don't think my opinion will change. Either way I hope jaekyungs personality gets better and he realizes stuff he's done wrong and doc Dan gets a happy romance and closure. (Everything I said here is my opinion please don't take it to deep!! I'm not trying to target or shame any part of the fandom!!!!)

@KatsuKorr Fr! i really hope jaekyung changes soon before i start commiting war crimes. he has been so pressuring and so awful to doc and its really starting to pi** me off because out of no where, he startes caring. the one time a good character comes in and praises dan, he gets all pissy and acts like he hasnt SA'd him so many times. and him not even asking for any sort of consent is a HUGE red flag. like i understand dan is under a contract or whatever but it still pis*** me off. Choi seems so genuine and actually likes Dan unlike Jaekyung, who is a b*tch and doesnt know what the words "stop" or "no" is. im so glad Dan punched him a few chapters back. and the chapter where Jaekyung was actually pleasing Dan was nice but Dan kept asking for him to stop and he didnt but- whatever! and he needs to be way more gentle. he is gonna kill the poor boy!!
@KatsuKorr Yep, yep. Jaekyung is a complex character, so the Author is going to have to do some SERIOUS finessing in order to give him a proper redemption arc. One thing I will say, is that he's definitely a well-written character, because he stirs up feelings of repulsion, yet there are ppl still rooting for him (that's some good writing, although difficult to digest at times). I'm not liking the fact that Doc Dan is falling for him first...as one of thr other comments said, it's more akin to Stockholm Syndrome, which is true. Although Doc is technically not a prisoner (like physically restrained or locked up), he's imprisoned by Jaekyung through his circumstances. There are ppl who are like, "Well he paid off Dan's debt and took care of his grandmother's hospital bill." Yes he did, but it's a tab you see. While it's true Jaekyung did not have to do any of those things (including moving him into his home), he did so as a means of control. Then there's the part where, "Dan signed a contract and knew what he was getting into." Again true, but Doc Dan did not sign up for assault and dubious consent. There's a fine line there, and Jaekyung manages to obliterate it every time. I'm one to trust the process, but this has been a difficult one I must admit. I'm still on the fence about Heesung, but he is a good foil for Jaekyung.
@eeevveee fr!!! He's been through so much and jaekyungs behavior and conditions rn aren't helping rlly. Sure he provided him shelter and money but in exchange for his body and opinions??? Like cmon
@artsy_amusing THIS. like material wealth that jaekyungs giving doc is so insignificant when u realize how he's kind of manipulating and just has a possesion over doc. I really hope mingwa(author) gives him a redemption arc or let's doc have an endgame with Choi cause having a Stockholm syndrome situation with docs mentality would be so sadddd
