@Ruby fan no, she was used and abused when she was the last saintness and now that she's back, she's trying to protect herself from it happening again.

she said that cuz saintess will be used as a tool for the church and the kingdom without a life of their own being locked up in the church until they die
by saying to the king she can have a life of her own visit her family maybe even have a lover.
