I love that the narrative is showing that the deeper Jo's layers are, the darker they turn out to be instead of going with the "but he's in love" usual discourse.I love how the author completely destroyed the "good guy image" that Jo pretended to be like this pіece of shіt literally SAed an unconscious man, lied to him, manipulated him, condemned his lifestyle and intentionally prevented Ian and TJ from meeting when they were already running towards each other.I always knew this, but after this chapter, I can say for sure that what Jo calls love, is nothing but a figment of his mind.He sees Ian as something he has to achieve, something that should be all for himself And this desire and attraction of him to win causes a strong possessiveness that he calls love.
