The shield falters and 2 arrows get through. An arrow hits the wizards shoulder and the shield shatters completely. There is a lull before the next attack and Penelope knows it won't last. Callisto grabs a nearby magician and tells him to get Penelope out of here now. A soldier calls that they're preparing their next attack. Callisto orders them to form a circular rank and the knights rush to gather their shields. But such a rank couldn't be formed in a swamp where there was no place to hide. Penelope finds in difficult to move through the swamp and thinks it's the perfect trap.

Callisto tells her to hurry and go. She wants to help and use magic but can't. Suddenly a soldier calls out that they've stopped shooting and their monster hordes are dividing into two ranks. A monster takes out the wizard beside Penelope.Callisto throws his cloak onto Penelope and attacks another monster. Penelope wonders why they stopped shooting.

They could have easily destroyed them with arrows but now they're fighting a messy ground battle. In addition, there was still another set of troops waiting in the sky.. She wonders if it's a timed attack and thinks the knights are completely disorganized. Callisto suddenly cries out to her and starts running to her. As she turns she sees the claws of a flying monster approaching her at tremendous speed.
