@Roman she's an animal—her instincts told her to initiate intimacy. But her brother didn’t respond, which is honestly confusing. I mean, even if he’s somewhat aware of her scent or whatever, how would he know it's wrong to be intimate with his sister? He’s a tiger! It’s not like he has human morals. Of course she would try to mate if he doesn’t reject her.

Although in reality, male tigers usually leave their family to establish their own territory. So inbreeding rarely happens, because they don’t stay around their female relatives. Same goes for wolves—they don’t mate with their siblings either.

But lions are different. A dominant male actually mates with all the females in his pride, even if they’re related. That’s just how their social structure works.
