@ethan A sad*** is someone who gets pleasure from seeing another person suffer, whether it's a little or a lot. They may hurt on purpose, just because it amuses them or makes them feel powerful. (And in case you haven't figured it out, I'm a sad***, but I can calm down otherwise...)
