Some may scoff at her for becoming this way, but I get it. I get exactly why she turned out the way she did, but it also makes it that much clearer why Rintaro and the gang are the perfect foil to her beliefs here. They are the perfect challenge to her beliefs regarding Chidori and how it is now, at least in some part.
