@Ariella I find it that it wasn't really forced in the past but they were the only ones that were close in capable to get married though he most likely could have not done it. He still hurt her in the past and she doesn't want that again.. Also I think he realized that he truly loved her when she left him in that world and how much he would miss her.. Also there is no need to be that obsessed

@Flower huh? How can there be any consent in a marriage where he has no autonomy and is being held captive? They were the most biologically compatible so he was forced into a relationship with her that's it.
