he uses a skill to win against assimilation grid due to Brahams' arrogance, grid actually calls it too.

with the way it was written it basically is plot armor, no matter how he wins he was going to win, on top of him beating a legend now instead of having to write another whole encounter for him to get his sword saint , also his level getting reset now vs later would have been much harder to write
