i am disapointed.
this is not even 1/10 of how good the nouvelle was, it lets to many stuff unexplained/explains just half, says some stuff not and so on.
as example, reincarnated cale explained that orginal cale was NOT hated from the townsfolk in the beginning, the reason for that was becouse he acted just towards troublemakers in a dominering way and did pay always the stuff that got broken.
and if i remember right it was too explained that his stepmother didnot hate him too, same with his siblings, i forgott the reason.
becouse of the missing stuff cale looks not even a quarter as intelligent as he was in the nouvelle.
