I just want to know what's on Inseo's head, mostly what did he talk about with Yi-hyeok's mother in the past, that is making him feel so insecure about confessing his feelings.

I have a feeling it's because Yi-hyeok's mother is/was a closeted lesbian and that she probably had a lot of issues because of it... Inseo likely made a comment when he was young about how much he liked Yi-hyeok, and she freaked out, maybe not wanting her son and her best friend's son to face all the problems she has?
That's my theory at least
