@Taekook everytime there's a panel of his hand breaking , it shows how he ended up letting go of becoming a guitarist again. It was not the assualt scene alone that made him take this decision. But things that kept happening made him doubt his talent and I think it's a symbolic way of showing the bond between Simon and Conor starting to crack as well
