Can i ask someone perspective about the father? Did the father truly cared for Seonjin and that Seonjin was just so damaged by the father's actions that led to his mother's self termination in which it led to Seonjin feel unloved and came up with a resolution of commit self harm to get revenge at his father as he is as Seonjin claims "a tower that his father built" or was Seonjin right that his father just treats him like a tower, a "perfect creation" that he built just to have something he can be "proud" of?
I am not defending the father though...his actions were iredeemable and very selfish that led for Seonjin to do the same as an act of revenge which may repeat itself again. I just got curious about some scenes where it "looked like" he cared for his son, like when in that scene with the gangster antagonist where he said something the lines of "you want to find your son, rather than having your time with me?" Or this scene of the father's devastated reaction of the news on Seonjin's death.
Did he somewhat cared for Seonjin or is my doubt misplaced?
