man i love qiqi and buyi's arc. it's so well-written and grounded–the doubts, the insecurities and the societal pressure qu*** people face. i love that they have depth and they're not just some side characters. they're actually just as integral to the story. they complement the main story that is more light-hearted fantasy well. not to mention their chemistry w jilin is so good. they're like a found family.

@buddyreader I think there's no side couples like both of them are the main couples because I noticed that both of them have a same screen time and etc (if you know what I am mean)
