I have been a bit suspicious in a good way that eciel is a normal kid  for a last few chapters.. so this chapter makes it valid .. she has higher EQ and can understand a lot of emotional stuff but I think  she keeps it low key  and that's why she can interpret kings words that way and seems wise for a 9 yr old kid .. and Claire has high IQ and can't express her emotions well ( she can express her emotions a bit that's how she is special and not similar to her father )
